Business Development Manager - IT Sales


Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager with experience in IT sales to drive business growth and expand our client base.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored technology solutions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT services and software solutions sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to propose the right solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Regularly update CRM systems and provide sales forecasts and activity reports.



Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/P.G degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in IT sales, software sales, or technology solutions selling.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development cycles, and enterprise technology needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS products, web applications, or enterprise solutions.
  • Prior experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Knowledge of lead generation through platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, or Clutch.
  • Familiarity with consultative selling approaches and solution-based sales models.
